Events have been my special interest, my passion, my career for the past thirteen years. Eight as a planner. Five in the classroom teaching events to undergrads, and eventually, as a researcher working to understand what makes some events feel magical.
I noticed that my students lit up the moment they understood why a football game, a music festival, a wedding, sometimes becomes more than an event; why it becomes a core memory that carries an echo of emotion long after the event disappears. That became the foundation of my dissertation, and then it became Resonance Co.
This kind of knowledge has lived in academic journals and university classrooms long enough. It belongs in the hands of the planners who design with surprise and delight, with intention, with depth. The planners who view their work as craft.
